ENVIRONMENT & WATER TREATMENT
Lime is a highly effective and economical alkaline reagent widely used in environmental treatment processes. It plays an important role in flue gas desulfurization (FGD), industrial wastewater treatment, pulp and paper production, and soil or sludge remediation.
In FGD systems, powdered quicklime or high–specific surface area hydrated lime reacts with SO2 and other acidic gases to form stable byproducts, enabling efficient emission control.
In industrial wastewater treatment—including electroplating, textile dyeing, and mining—lime is widely used for acid neutralization and the precipitation of phosphates and heavy metals.
In pulp production, lime regenerates pulping alkali through the causticizing process, reducing chemical consumption and wastewater discharge. It is also used in soil and sludge remediation to stabilize contaminants and improve material properties.
Recommended Products
Powdered Quicklime (Calcium Oxide)
High SSA Calcium Hydroxide
Core Advantages
Efficient Reaction Performance
High reactivity enables efficient desulfurization and neutralization with lower reagent consumption, improving overall process efficiency.
Competitive Cost Advantage
As a natural mineral-based material, lime offers a significantly lower cost profile than chemical alternatives such as liquid caustic soda (NaOH).
Process Support & Product Optimization
We provide end-to-end support, recommending optimized product grades based on flue gas composition and wastewater characteristics, complemented by practical process consulting.
Project Case
Project Case
Minben lime products are widely used in wastewater treatment projects and power plant flue gas desulfurization retrofits across multiple provincial and municipal industrial parks. Representative applications include the supply of dedicated lime for the causticizing process at Yueyang Paper.
Owing to their stable quality and high performance, Minben products have earned broad recognition from environmental regulators and industrial customers.

In August 2025, Groundbreaking of Hubei Minben Environmental Materials Project (Phase I), a high–surface-area calcium hydroxide production base.
